Oldest Water Heater Contest Rules
The contest is open to owner-occupied, single- family homes with gas or electric water heaters within Above and Beyond Plumbing & Electric Company, Inc's service area.
- Entrants must be 21 or older.
- Entrants must be owner occupied homes within our service area.
- Entries must be received by August 30, 2017.
- All entrants must have an Above and Beyond Plumbing & Electric Company, Inc Plumber technician out to the home to inspect the unit, or the entry will not be valid.
- $100 savings certificate is only valid on purchase of a new water heater, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- All decisions are final.
- The winner will be selected by September 15, 2017 and informed prior to media announcements.
- The winner will be posted online at callaboveandbeyond.com.
- The winning entry will receive a new water heater up to 50 gallons.
- Gas and electric water heaters only.
- The new water heater will be the same product (either electric or gas) as the existing water heater.
- Above and Beyond Plumbing & Electric Company, Inc will provide a standard 2 year labor & 6 year parts limited warranty.
- The winner will agree to allow Above and Beyond Plumbing & Electric Company, Inc to use images and likenesses of the old and new unit and homeowner’s and the homeowner’s name in promotional materials.
- Prize is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.
- No entry fee or purchase is required.
- In the event that two or more water heaters are the same age, Above and Beyond Plumbing & Electric Company, Inc will consider the ugliest water heater as the winner
- Any upgrades or additional items are not included.
- Restrictions: Above and Beyond Plumbing & Electric Company, Inc will be responsible for the installation, gas permit fees, and electrical connections. It is the winner’s responsibility to cover any expenses that result from flue upgrades, capacity upgrades, type upgrades, gas valves, service costs, hazardous material removal/abatement, or modifications to the building (electrical, building, mechanical, etc.) or improvements necessary to bring the building into local code compliance.
